An installation at Stockholm Concert Hall, feb 2015 – aug 2015.
A duo project with sound artist Gustav Lejelind. Commissioned by Riksutställningar (Swedish Exhibition Agency) and Stockholm Concert Hall. Part of the curatorial platform TESTING.
Kim Johansson and Gustav Lejelind conducted a field work during the preparations for a major concert festival at Stockholm Concert Hall – recording activities, conversations and interviews. The collected audio material was transcribed into a script that was recited by a couple of professional singers. The video material was reworked into rotoscoped vector animations that together with sound and voices was presented in a 12- channel video and sound installation, integrated into the architecture of the foyer area.
